今日、バンクーバー市内で定期的に開かれているアンティークマーケットに行ってきました。

古着やガラクタだらけのフリーマーケットには普段はそんなに魅力は無いのだけど、こだわりのコレクターが集うアンティークマーケットなら何か面白いものがあるのかも？？とちょっと期待しながら初めての体験！

行ってみると、結構な数のベンダーがいて、クローズの３０分に到着したので全部をじっくりゆっくり見る事ができなかった・・・　ざっと見ながら会場を一周して目に付いたのは、陶器・シルバー等のキッチン用品・ジュエリー類、そしてそれ以外にもいろいろ。古いけど、どれも程度・状態のいいものが多くて、ガラクタばっかりでガッカリなフリーマーケットとは違って結構たのしめました。私が探していたのはエナメルのコンテナだけど、それは意外と見当たらない。その代わり、日本でもコレクターがいるというビンテージのPyrexやFireKingのガラス製食器がちらほら。色や形がかわいくてちょっと欲しいなって言うのがあったけど、結構お値段高め。コレクションじゃなくて、実際にキッチンで使う事を考えると、この使い古された物にこの値段を出すのはなぁ、、って、買うまでにはいたりませんでした。

今回は収穫なし。次回はもっと朝早く出かけて掘り出し物を見つけるぞ！

アンティークマーケットでの記念すべき第１品お買い上げ～は、シルバーのテディベアチャーム。
